PIAUGIER SABLET ROUGE LES BRIGUIERES
Cotes du Rhone Village
Domaine de Piaugier, Sablet, Southern Rhone
2020 vintage
Grapes : 80%Grenache 20% Mourvedre
The vineyard is situated on a hillside above the village of Sablet, and Les Briguieres is made from grapes of 40-year old vines. Both tank and wood barrels are used to aged the wine and there is a delicate charm of the Rhone Valley cru’s to be enjoyed in the glass. There is also richness and complexity with aromas of cranberries, violet and cinnamon; which allows the wine to be drunk young, although it will also mature on very well. Will go well with a mixed cheeseboard. A good dinner party wine.
